Bank Holiday Weekend again (August 25 to 27)! What’s a boy and girl to do? I’m not pointing the finger for this holiday at anyone, but Asha recommended the Norfolk Broads and the metropolis of Great Yarmouth. Sigh.
The highlights: it was lovely spending time with Asha again; I got to drive; we saw some pretty things.
The bad. Great Yarmouth is not really us. We actually felt like snobs which was kind of uncomfortable - but the feeling was so hard to ignore.

Finally! Family!
It was great having Carly here for a fleeting visit before she headed to the continent. Here are some pics from our day trip to Brighton where Carla and I visited the Royal Pavilion.

Long weekend (May 26, 27 & 28) - what to do? Ash had an idea - a bus tour thingy in the lovely county of Devon. Whoa - what a great night (Friday 18 May). Accenture threw the current and former team members of the project I’ve working on for the last 11 months on a big bash inside the Earth Galleries of the Natural History Mueseum in South Kensington. We had champagne and hors d’oeuvres in the rooms that house all the minerals, metals and man-made materials. To get to it we had to travel up a long escalator through a massive Earth sculpture. Dinner was served downstairs underneath the massive Earth sculpture. Read the rest of this entry »
